Ex president, Manoj Vasudevan wins third place in the prestigious Toastmasters World Championship of Public Speaking

manojManoj Vasudevan, ACS, CL, Ex President of Marine Parade Toastmasters  Club, and member of Toastmasters Club of Singapore, won the third place in the prestigious Toastmasters World Championship of Public Speaking, the world’s largest speech contest. The contest was held on 15th August 2015 at Toastmasters International Convention in Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, USA.

Manoj reached the championship level after several elimination rounds that began six months ago with 30,000 participants in 100 countries. This is the first time Singapore has made it to the finals of this prestigious speech contest in the 91 years of Toastmasters history. Manoj has to say that, “In Singapore, many people are more talented than those I meet internationally, but many don’t believe in their potential. If we speak up, we can top the world.”
