Marine Parade Toastmasters hosted an educational session on evaluation, titled “Evaluate to help the speaker!” and held a Tabletopics Marathon on 31st July. There were 65 guests who attended at one point in time, and looking at the feedback received, it was a huge success!
DTM Ng Cher Khim (also the District Director of District 80 Singapore) conducted his session that talked about the purpose, process and specific strategies to deliver an excellent, effective and encouraging evaluation to help the speaker. DTM Cher Khim also answered a host of questions driving on his experience at evaluation.
On both sides of the session, we had the Table Topics sessions of impromptu speaking. IPP Putu gave a simple and intuitive framework to follow when answering a Table Topics question and TM Molly gave melodious songs as the cue for Table Topics.
